Mr. Bliar goes to the Middle East (again)?

You're probably aware that when our Dear Leader becomes our ex-DL within the next few days, Bush wants him to become a "Middle East Peace Envoy".

As you may notice, there could be problems with this idea...

I think the best comment comes from that bastion of political commentary, the BBC 6 Music Breakfast Show, which is presented by Shaun Keaveny!

As he says (the show can be heard here) at 40:40 "Having Blair as a Middle Eastern envoy is like making Robert Maxwell the Minister for Pensions!"

Seeing how the BBC has caved into Bliar since the Hutton Report, I'm surprised and glad he was allowed to get away with this. If he's not presenting the show tomorrow, we'll know why!
