Now they allow Gay Asylum-Seekers!

Back in March, it was reported that the Home Office rejected an application by a gay Iranian asylum-seeker on the grounds that "provided Iranians are discreet about their homosexuality, they will not be persecuted", i.e. they need to stay in the closet.

Yesterday, the Home Office had a change of heart (probably after realising the fact that it was an appalling decision) and agreed to grant asylum.
