US election round-up

I don't usually do posts which are simply round-ups of links to other sites, but with the up-coming US election I thought I'd make an exception.

• Jon Swift has a great post on the paranoid ranting of right-wing American bloggers
• Two links to Crooks & Liars. Firstly a post where some Republican member says Obama has "great teeth" (I'm not sure if he means they seem very white). Secondly, the Morons er Mormons are blackmailing their members into donating funds into the Californian referendum on whether or not to make gay marriage unconstitutional within the state.
• John McCain seems to trying to race-bait in the last few weeks
• Joe McCarthy makes a comeback
• Voting machines are making "errors". In West Virginia they're swapping Obama votes for McCain and in Tennessee vice versa.
• Senator Al Franken (D-MN)?
• Racists for Obama
• Voting means a lot for some people
