Over the weekend there were referenda in Switzerland on its drug policies with mixed results. one was over whether or not to endorse the government's policy on providing heroin free and safe to addicts and the other was whether or not to decriminalise grass, which is currently a low-level priority for the Swiss police.

The good news is that the legal heroin initiative passed with almost a two-thirds majority, but unfortunately the grass proposal failed.

The blogger on Reality Base seems to support how the Swiss handle drugs, yet she condemned the heroin proposal. Naturally I had a go at her...
