Hey! Gummint! Leave our pipes alone!
All in all it’s just a ‘nother hole in the ground.

Music of 2011
Once again I've decided to do a Spotify playlist of the albums I've bought this year.
So far there's only 1 album on it, but - based on the previous years - it'll grow quickly!
I've also done one of various songs which I've enjoyed from this year too. Tweet

EU v Sky TV and the Premier League
Earlier today an interesting ruling was made by the Advocate General of the European Court of Justice.
He says that not allowing pubs to pubs to show foreign TV coverage of Premier League games violates EU law.
It's not binding on the ECJ, simply an advice; however, quite often they are followed.
Unfortunately, it's a case of wait-and-see, but if the ECJ does follow it, it should mean that pubs will be allowed to show e.g. Greek sports channels' coverage of English football games, while the games are taking place on a Saturday afternoon without the landlords facing any sacntions, unlike now.
